Prof. Shambhu Nath Tiwari was born on July 11, 1962, in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. A distinguished scholar, poet, and professor at Aligarh Muslim University's Department of Hindi, he has dedicated over 30 years to celebrating India's literary heritage and bridging Hindi-Urdu traditions.
Gold Medal in M.A. (Hindi) from Jamia Millia Islamia (1988), M.Phil. (1992) and Ph.D. (1995) from JNU under Prof. Namvar Singh. JRF-NET fellowship recipient.
